My insurer says I need a BS3621 lock. What does that mean?
BS3621 is the British Standard for thief-resistant locks. On a wooden front door that usually means a five-lever mortice deadlock with the kitemark stamped on the faceplate. If your door hasn’t got one, we can fit one and give you an invoice that shows the standard, and we’ll quote before we start.
Can you change the locks between tenants?
Yes. We work for landlords and letting agents across Bedminster and Southville. A typical changeover is a new front door cylinder and a fresh set of keys, usually done the same day and invoiced to the landlord or agent.
